Dear Colleagues

On behalf of the Gastroenterological Society of Taiwan, it is my great honor and pleasure to extend our cordial invitation to all colleagues in the associated societies of gastroenterology, hepatology, endoscopy, surgeons, oncologists, pediatricians, and interventional radiology from Taiwan and all over the world to participate in Taiwan Digestive Disease Week 2021. It is one of the most important jointed international academic event for the studies of science and practice of digestive diseases in Taiwan.

The meeting will be held on September 24, 25 and 26, 2021. Due to the uncertainty of the pandemic covid-19, we will have all virtual meeting the first time. Although we look forward to seeing all friends present at the meeting in person, but the new wave of Delta virus seems much more aggressive than what we have encountered before. We will broadcast our program according to the original plan; and cast to the friend societies abroad where the helpful or advancement of medical information can be shared.

The theme of the meeting is "Innovation and clinical practice in Digestive Medicine". Other than the lectures, the recent teleconference technology will enable us raise questions even after the meeting, but please send in times. The posters can be viewed by category or key words. The authors can enclose brief summary in voice in presentation. Viewers can leave questions and comments for authors. We have joined sponsors from related industry, their show-case is enhanced for interaction communication, 3D presentation. If you leave messages for them, you can get updated information even after the meeting instantly. I hope you can enjoy the recent meeting technology for facilitating our interaction during this convention.
